What is Safe-esteem?

In this anthropogenic era, survival is increasingly governed by the choices we make, reflecting a shift towards acquired competencies over inherited instincts. Despite advancements, the persistently high rates of preventable injuries, diseases, and accidents—ranging from 30% to 60%+ globally—underscore the limitations of our traditional risk assessment frameworks. This stark reality reveals an urgent need for a paradigm shift in how we perceive, communicate, and respond to risks.

The concept of safe-esteem emerges as a solution to this challenge, advocating for an elevated approach to Risk Judgment and Decision-Making (RJDM). By integrating insights from cognitive-behavioral science, artificial intelligence, and statistical analysis, among other disciplines, we aim to refine our collective risk perception and decision-making abilities. Our mission is to nurture a higher safe-esteem, enhancing individual and societal capacity to navigate the complexities of modern risk landscapes more effectively.
